With the emergence of cities like Atlanta as premier film destinations,
the Southeast has become a true industry hub with more opportunities than ever before.
In the past it was almost a requirement for film professionals to live on the West Coast,
but now a new generation of actors and filmmakers have had great success making states
like Georgia and North Carolina their base of operations.

It also doesn't have to be a full-time commitment...
There is work for actors and actresses of all backgrounds and schedules,
whether it be a career actor or someone looking to earn supplemental income.

Cornelius Muller

Instructor

Cornelius Muller is an actor and producer from Brooklyn, New York. He graduated from Elon University and has been an Alamance County mainstay for nearly 20 years. After a change in career from a path devoted to professional basketball, Cornelius found his true calling in the arts while attending acting classes at HB Studios in New York City. Since then, Cornelius has gone on to star in several national commercials and short form and feature-length films.

In 2010, Cornelius founded Cornelius Muller Productions LLC and has since produced several feature-length films under the banner. "Find A Way," based on a tragic true event that happened in Alamance County, received a limited theatrical release in 2013 and is now available on digital outlets such as Amazon Prime Video. "Sacred Hearts" is in post-production and will be released nationally later this fall. The most recent project from Cornelius Muller Productions, titled "Making Him Famous," had to shut down principal photography when the 2020 outbreak of COVID-19 hit North Carolina but is slated to resume as soon as possible.

As a
Sanford Meisner method actor, Cornelius realizes the importance of programs that enhance an actor's ability to approach and adapt to material of all types. When casting projects for Cornelius Muller Productions, Cornelius tends to reach out to students in local acting programs to fill roles of all sizes as he strongly believes in fostering creativity throughout the community.
